The idea
الفكرةNAWAH is a seed you sit inside. A sculptural pod that wraps around the reader — back, sides and overhead — leaving one open mouth of daylight and a cushion of olive-green wool.
The whole shell is cut from 18 mm birch plywood on our CNC, layer by layer, then threaded together on steel rods. No carving, no moulds — the drama comes from repetition: dozens of precise flat parts becoming one continuous curve.
It ships flat, assembles with a wrench, and every plywood edge is left exposed as the finish — the stripes of the laminations are the ornament.
